| To love is to suffer. To avoid suffering one must not love. But then one suffers from not loving. Therefore to love is to suffer, not to love is to suffer. To suffer is to suffer. To be happy is to love. To be happy then is to suffer. But suffering makes one unhappy. Therefore, to be unhappy one must love, or love to suffer, or suffer from too much happiness.
i do believe everything happens for a reason. whether the reason is predetermined or not, i'm not sure. seeing pain in the ones you love is the hardest thing. feeling helpless is hardly something to strive for. despite all the hardships, i think life is pretty incredible. its important to be happy. it's important to be sad. as long as you always remember that there is only more good to come.
